I thought that I had ordered the plastic Rubbermaid Brillance Food containers instead of glass ones. With arthritis in my hands. these glass containers are a bit heavy. So I only store popcorn kernals in them. The containers are on a shelf in pantry so I just removed a lid and dip measuring cup into container.

Best quality containers
I wrap pieces of chicken separately to use one at a time, then put them in a freezer bag. It works for keeping them fresh and free of freezer burn, but those plastics pick up odors and I'm tired of dealing with the smell. Now I wrap them in plastic wrap and put them in these glass containers and voila, no odors building up. Plus glass is easier to disinfect than plastic containers. These look and work just like the Tritan Brilliance containers, except they're glass. Air tight, water tight, and I like the way they look too, the ones I keep on the counter. They're a little pricey but the quality is so worth it.
