Feeding Instructions
Using the chart, divide the total cups per day by the total number of times you feed your dog per day to determine the portion size for each meal. Keep a clean bowl of fresh water available at all times. Every dog is a little different, so optimal feeding amounts may vary with age, size and activity level. Please use this information as an initial recommendation only and adjust when needed. Dry and wet food in combination will help to increase the level of water in your dog’s diet. If feeding with wet food, reduce dry amount by 1/4 cup for every 3 oz of wet food.
Transitioning: Gradually mix in the new food over 7 - 10 days, increasing the amount of Merrick dog food each day. This gradual transition will help avoid dietary upsets.

The BEST ever!
I originally bought the Lil' Plates by accident, having purchased The Texas Beef & Sweet Potato for the last 4 or 5 years. However when I purchased the first bag of Lil' Plates, Sophie our Yorkie really loves it. We have, and will continue to use Merrick food and treats. The Rabbit Power Bites are another enormous hit!

Louie gives it two paws up!!
I have fed my miniature dachshund Merrick foods since he was about 8 weeks old. Now at a year old we switched to the Lil Plates Texas Beef and Sweet Potato. He loves it!! He has always loved the Merrick brand food and I feed it to him knowing that I am giving him something that will fulfill his nutritional needs. Peace of mind and a happy, healthy pup! That's why my dog Louie gives it two paws up!
