Bridgestone Blizzak WS90 Winter 175/65R15 84H Passenger Tire Fits: 2010-14 Mini Cooper Clubman, 2002-07 Mini Cooper Base

Had these WS90 installed to replace my WS80...on dry, rain, snow, ice and slush and these WS90 perform even better than the WS80 I had before. Let me explain: Last night when the roads in my neighbourhood were literally sheets of ice, these tires got me home safely and even went up the slope like there was no ice. When my neighbours were sliding around and had to turn around to go home, I was in and out and about easily. Really, really impressed. My WS90 cut through slush and rain really easily. No pull, no slide, nothing...just in the direction I was going. When there was a snow dump and the slushy roads were starting to turn icy, I counted 30+ cars on the side of the road and a bunch more were gingerly driving along, these tires were sure and steady. Of course, I was driving reasonably. No slippage at all. When I drive on dry roads, these tires handle really well too. Corners, curve, hard stop...all easy and solid. I also noticed the noise level was much, much lower than my WS80. I've only driven about 2,000km with these tires. It'll be interesting to see if the durability is as advertised also, and if the tires perform just as well once it's 50% worn. For now, they are simply AWESOME in all road conditions.

And I make fun of people overusing "amazing". I had jumped on the SUV AWD bandwagon 25 years ago, but then always had a second pleasure car like a Corvette. But I really wanted a Challenger and wanted to get rid of one of my cars. First winter I decided to try the Blizzak. Honestly, I get better stability and traction in snow with my RWD than I got with any of my SUV's. I only keep them on for 3 months so how long they will last remains to be seen. I highly recommend them to all you old school RWD people out there.
