It's sturdy %26 held up under my friend that is a bit over 300 pounds when sitting on it. The adjustable height feature makes it easy to carry with a nylon type strap/handle. These are definitely a great addition to your camping / travel gear. I'm thinking of getting another set to leave in the trunk of my car. I purchased the 2 per set in the rainbow colors. It says I'll get a $5 promo for writing this but I was writing it even before that popped up. (Last time I had the promo for a different product, I never received anything. It wasn't from this company, it was another review I did on this site.) Not sure why they have cup holder rating on this collapsible stool.

so far so good. I bought to use at dance competitions this season since I'm unable to sit on the floor due to my health. they are fairly simple to set up and put away and seem sturdy. Worthwhile investment. And yes it is 2 stools, I wasnt quite sure when purchasing.
