Convenient Fructo Oligosaccharides
Research suggests that fructooligosaccharides (FOS) shifts the human gut microbiome to favor fiber fermenters and the polypeptides produced by this microbiome is beneficial to memory and cognitive tasks. Supplementing with FOS is a low-risk, low-cost method that could potentially improve health. I am glad that I could find an inexpensive and convenient source of FOS. What I don't like about this product is that the powder sticks to the handle of the scoop and to my hands. Also, FOS apparently gives me a lot of gas. I guess that's to be expected when feeding fiber fermenters. I usually use only one scoop of the powder, which is half a serving.
