I get them in bulk as i want one brand one style, see through so you can see what is in them; they have clips that lock the lids on a bonus I get them in three sizes. I would suggest you not go HUGE the bigger they are the heavier they are when full, trying to lug one filled with fifty pounds or more gets old fast. I am working on organizing my craft supplies. These bins are good for holding folded fabrics, and spools of ribbon and trims, as well as keeping supplies for a partly finished project. I tape an index card inside, facing out, with the project name and date, so I can see at a glance what I have. They stack against the wall and keep the contents dust free. We really like that these bins have lid locks, and they're so easy to carry and move around. The garage looks neater with everything nicely stored. I use these on the closet shelf to hold out of season clothing, again with cards listing the contents. I organize Christmas decorations in a few of these, and I can see the colors and sizes inside easily.
