Possibly the best monitor I've ever purchased!

I bought this Dell monitor on sale, and I have to say it's an excellent value for that price. At full retail, it might not be worth the cost. The IPS black screen looks stunning! It doesn't quite match the darkness of my gaming OLED, but it's much better than any traditional IPS screen I've used. The colors are vibrant, and the screen maintains impressive contrast even in low-light conditions and at night. Importantly, an IPS screen may be the best choice for a work monitor, as it doesn't suffer from burn-in or white level fluctuations. I'm using this ultra-wide screen with a Mac Mini, and it looks amazing! I have no complaints and believe it was worth every penny. The text is crisp, and the Thunderbolt port works smoothly. There's no delay when waking the screen, unlike many other displays on a Mac. The extra screen space also makes my coding and design work much easier. The U4025QW might be the best monitor I've ever bought.

The best 5K2K monitor for the price range

The best 5K2K monitor among all I have tried (LG UltraFine 40WT95UF / LG 40WP95C / INNOCN). 40WT95UF is pricy at ~$1800 with the same quality and other 2 do not have the same picture quality. My personal use if for only office work (mainly coding, writing, spreadsheets) and not gaming. Build quality is great and sturdy. Enough connectivity options. With TB4.0 and USB hub features, I was able to remove the dedicated USB hub I had before. The only comparable option I could find is LG40WT95UF. True HDR and TB5.0 are few missing features compared to other 40WT95UF but I do not find those features very useful for daily office work.
