My 3 year old enjoyed playing with this, and so does her 6 year old sibling! They love activating the colours with the included pens, but they also love using a small sponge and spray bottle. My 3 year old will use a sponge (not included) to “stamp” the letters as she learns them, and will then copy the letters in the center. The attached foam pieces have not been used much by the children and instead add clutter to their play area. I see them being discarded soon. But the main product is lovely. It can be played with on the floor or stuck to a window. The mat dries pretty quickly but it can leave behind faint marks from previous colouring sessions that won't disappear, although this has not been an issue for the children. I recommend this for children learning to write and draw.

My granddaughter really enjoyed playing with this item.
