I have acquired a literal ton of digital data in various formats thru the years and all of it is very precious to me. It has spread across many media formats to include CD's, DVD's, USB Memory Sticks, and the latest being SSD's (Solid State Devices memory units) from 500GB to 1TB, 2TB, 4TB and 8TB units. I wanted to collect all of this data into one (or two) very large hard drives with the USB's ease of use with Laptops (just plug and play or as others say - just drag and drop). It was very easy to transfer everything over to these 24TB drives . They were on sale so I bought two of the Seagate 24TB Expansion HDD to go with the 20TB unit from Seagate that I had purchased the previous month. Everything is hooked up and running on one laptop at the moment just to ensure things run smoothly, but later I'll dedicate one 24TB unit just for a 2nd laptop to use for entertainment only (movies, video, pdf books etc). This is great and I give it 6STARS OUT OF 5 STARS!!

I needed some more media storage, and this drive fit the bill! 24Tb, plug and play (I did need to reformat it for my mac), and reasonably priced. It's also pretty quiet too!
