Cute, good quality, sturdy train set!
My 4 year old nephew will love this set this Christmas! We were able to set it up in minutes, not a ton of pieces, easy to put together, you don't need a lot if batteries and it has lights and sounds! Really cute! Perfect for a small space but would be adorable under the tree for Christmas morning! Adorable train noises! Sturdy pieces! Perfect 1st set! Would be easy to store.

Fun Train for kids of all ages
My boys were so excited to unbox this train set and get it set up! It was easy to put the tracks together and to understand the instructions that came with the train in regards to how to place the batteries in both the train engine and the remote control and the on/off switches on each. It also gave instructions on how to fill the train with water drops in order for the 'smoke' to appear. It wasn't clear in the instructions, but you must leave the rubber stopper OFF if you want the smoke to work. We kept trying and trying with it on, and on a fluke pushed the button when the stopper was removed and lo and behold it worked! So, that would be nice to have in the instructions/manual -- or if the smoke option didn't work for you, try taking that stopper out. We empty the train of any residual water after use and replace the stopper to be safe. The train remote allows you to move the train either in forward or reverse, make the train whistle blow, stop the train, or make the engine smoke. My boys had a lot of fun doing all sorts of things with the train in combination with their lego sets, army figures and other miscellaneous toys. The coal in the coal car moves up and down as the train moves, making it look like it's jiggling around. It's not fancy, but for a child's imagination it is perfect. There is enough track that we can put this around our Christmas tree this year - and the boys are already looking forward to that. Would be nice if there was an option to purchase extra track as needed, but I couldn't find that option anywhere. Overall, this is a great gift for a train fan - to get them started with model trains/remote control toys etc.

Best train ever!!!
I really liked it and my son was fascinated by it, it is very detailed and the features it has are excellent. It has several buttons to operate it. It goes backwards and forwards. Another button for the whistle, to draw steam, which I love because it gives it a touch of realism, another to turn on the light, to put it in mute mode and the last to stop it. It is very beautiful and I love it, I would definitely recommend it 100%.
