I was actually quite surprised to have soft. These are and how usable these are. I had some made in the USA that were $29 for four and they were so hard I couldn't use it, but these are very soft impliable to the skin very comfortable and bigger than I expected. One is plenty. You don't have to use two.

Perfect solution to prevent wet spots in the bed.

These pads are great for both people and pets. The pads are a bit stiff at first, but they get softer and more comfortable with every cycle through the washer and dryer until they get to be like just super soft quilts. They are very absorbent and prevent wet spots in the bed. For pets, I just put 4 down with the edges overlapping to cover the whole bed surface.
