Do not use for more than 7 days, or if symptoms persist or worsen during use. Do not use if your child is allergic to English ivy, chamomile, or any of the other ingredients in the product. Avoid taking the product simultaneously with drugs, as marshmallow root may slow the absorption. Do not use with drugs or herbal supplements unless directed by your healthcare provider. Consult a physician if cough persists or before using if you are pregnant or nursing.

This stuff is GREAT! My (almost) 3 year old had a cough that was lingering, I gave her this medicine and within a few hours her cough became productive, it loosened the mucus that was in her chest that we didn't even know was there! After a few days all the gunk was out and her cough went away.

I bought this cough for the good reviews it received. but I found out this Vick's cough syrup gives relief fast for coughing and sore throat to my 7 months and a year and 11 month old great grand babies. it's a plus for me when you buy something that actually works the first time it's bought!
