I bought this to bulk ferment sourdough. I've been using my Anchor Hocking 8cup glass measuring cup, but as it was spending too much time in the fridge, I was planning on getting another, until I saw this set. I tried the "unloaf", and it rose above the rim by next day, but it was fine. I'd say a 500g or smaller loaf, would double perfectly in this! I also love that it has a nice lid to set on top while fermenting or to snap tight when storing leftovers (and the smaller size is just a bonus). I'm not sure how well the measuring lines will hold up as they are not embossed, but they are easier to read and seem similar to the Farberware cups, which have never faded/washed off on me.
