I live pretty far from town, and I've been using Michigan Low Heat powdered nonfat milk for years. The burnt taste you normally associate with powdered milk is from the high heat drying in other products. I mix it full strength (1 cup powder per quart water) to half strength depending on what I want it for. Powder in a quart sized jar with a plastic screw on lid, shake the heck out of it, and keep it in the fridge. I initially had a beef with the seller because they sent me Lonestar nonfat milk instead of the normal Michigan Milk shown in the advertisement. The flavor of this product is the same.
