Daily Feeding Guide: Weight of cat: 5 lb: 3/8-1/2 cup; Weight of cat: 10 lb: 2/3-7/8 cup; Weight of cat: 15 lb: 7/8 to 1-1/4 cups. These amounts are a starting point only. Your pet may need less or more food to maintain proper weight. Adjust as needed. If you are unsure, ask your veterinarian. Feeding this food for the first time? Mix increasing amounts of your pet's new food with decreasing amounts of the old food over a 7-day period. For maximum benefit, this product must be fed as the only food. Use of supplements or mixing with any other food is not recommended. Keep fresh water available at all times! We recommend that you take your pet to the veterinarian at least twice a year for regular health check-ups. Protect from moisture. Store in a cool, dry place.

1st tried as a small free sample from my vet after my cat went for a cleaning. I was surprised that they love it so much. I hate the price tag attached, but unfortunately that's science diet for you. Large kibbles in chicken flavor make it so cats HAVE to chew it compared to something like friskies or Iams. However, I gave the value for Price a three star because I purchased a three and a half pound bag for over $20 when I could get generic friskies or something else in a 3 and 1/2 lb bag for about seven bucks.

Cats love their kibble, I love fewer dental bills!
My first cat had a MAJOR dental cleaning at age 4. I switched her to SD Oral Care and she didn't need another cleaning for 11 years and even then, it was a stage 1! Two of my current cats had to have dentals at just over a year. I recall the vet remarking how one had tartar even as a kitten!. They're all on Oral Care and at their last wellness visit (they're 3 now), the vet gave them a thumbs up for teeth and gums! A little bit of extra $ spent on quality kibble has saved me $, and better yet, has spared my girls from additional dental procedures. Thanks!!
