Works great

I received the BioOptimal Collagen Pills, Collagen Peptides, Benefits Skin, Hair, Nails and Joints, Collagen Capsules, 180 Count for free through the Walmart Spark Review Program. Ok, I had always been interested if collagen pills actually worked so I was excited to see this item up for review. I am 54 years old and overweight like most of my peers. For the last few years my knees and other joints have “grinded” when I bend them. There was no pain, but I figured that would follow in a few more years. My sister was the one that suggested I try a collagen supplement. These BioOptimal Collagen Pills come in a bottle of 180 which will last 2 months because you take 3 capsules at a time. I did feel that the amount I had to take seemed like a lot. The capsules themselves are pretty large. With that being said, they were easily swallowed despite of their size. I have been taking these BioOptimal Collagen Capsules for the full 2 months to give an accurate review. I have to say that I have absolutely no “grinding” in my joints at all. My knees feel great! I have also noticed that my hair and nails are shinier and growing faster and thicker than before. I plan to continue using this product in the future. I definitely recommend it.

Perfect collagen pills

I have been using Collagen for a few years now, as recommended by my doctor for digestive care. I have been loyal to one brand, and used a powder form. However after reading about this company and the processing used for creating the collagen, I was more than happy to give theses a try. Having used a powder form for awhile now, pills would definitely be my preference. Three pills a day are recommended and they are easy to take, digestible, with no after taste. I only started at 2 capsules a day, I always take less than the recommended amount with any new brand of supplement until I feel comfortable that it’s going to work for me. The capsules have worked great transitioning from powder and a different brand. My digestion has not been affected, and my skin actually seems to be less dry. So I started taking 3 capsules a day. The collagen pills are Type 1&3, which is Bovine collagen, and comes from cow hide. For me, this is the type I need because of the higher protein content. The cows used to produce the collagen are grass fed, and there are zero artificial colors, flavors, sweetness, GMOS, preservatives, lactose, soy, wheat, or yeast. I appreciate a company with a social conscience.

Wonderful Product

I started this product April 28th. Honestly I'm pretty skeptical about these types of products. I've tried all the wrinkle reducer capsules, Anti Aging products etc. Really never have seen any results. I am very pleased with this product. I never have ever seen any results. I'm very pleased with this product. I actually see results already. I'm a former smoker. Have the upper lip wrinkles. They have softened out over the last 25 days. I will definitely continue to use this product. Highly recommended.
