Sunbeam King Velvetplush Electric Heated Blanket 10 Heat Settings Preheat Feature 2 Digital Controllers, Blue

I bought this blanket little over a month ago and I am very happy with it it keeps me warm I have no problems with it the only thing that I don't understand is why does it have on the controllers just a time limit up to 10 hours and often on switch but it does not have a place to where it could be set for heat level 1. Hot 2. Warm This blanket really gets a little bit too hot and I would like for me to be able to turn it down instead of just turning it off is there a way that I can turn the dial down to where it won't get too hot?

I received this for Christmas. It came with a manual, but the manual mentions not one word about how the “preheat” feature on the controller works, nor whether using preheat is part of the 10 hours of usage before the blanket automatically turns itself off ( as an energy conservation feature). Sunbeam... The preheat feature needs to be added to your manual so customers will know how to use it properly. I would also like to add that the number on the controller is so dim that I can barely read it, even in darkness. My manual is 2020 Sunbeam Products, Inc. P.N. 201151 Rev A
