Great Value Pepper & Onion Mixed Vegetable Blend, 20 oz (Frozen)

Grilled onions and peppers are like summer candy to me, I love the pair together and they compliment nearly any dish I cook them in. This blend of peppers and onions by Great Value is a quick and easy shortcut to enhance any savory dish I make. Lately I've been on a kick with my microwave rice cooker, so I like to pair a bowl of rice (I like brown but white is great too!) with these veggies and some precooked chicken or steak. I just toss these veggies and the frozen meat in a skillet together w/my preferred seasonings while the microwave rice cooks, and by the time it's done, I have the meat and veggies ready to toss in! Great easy meal for me, and just one example of what you can do with this veggie blend. I've also added to sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs, in pasta dishes as well - they aren't pre-seasoned so they can be customized to the dish you're cooking! Definitely recommend, we go through at least a bag a week!
