works very well for around a thousand square feet. sensor definitely picks up stuff like air fresheners and even popcorn and dust as you move across the floor. The UV light is sort of just a novelty because it's really not anything other than a black light and it's so super small that you have to turn the lights out completely to even barely see the purple color. I will say that the PM 2.5 icon supposedly has something to do with parts per million or particle matter or particulate matter of a 2.5 micron size. It's just for decoration. it's not something to pay you any attention to. it does work for getting rid of odors and dust and I'm fairly impressed with it.
