Not sure if I can give to grandson. Wanted a step up from the orange plastic bat. He's 5 yrs old and really good at hitting the ball. However where I live I'm afraid using this bat he will knock out a few windows. I'm in a townhome and not enough area to practice hitting balls with this bat. Might look for another place to practice. The bat is great, worth the money for anyone looking for a bat for 5 year old and above.
