these are to help support the liver. Best to start taking to support a healthy live, but can help a not so healthy one. It doesn't really have a taste. They come in a flavorless gel cap that doesn't dissolve so fast it comes apart in your mouth. It does absorb quickly for an oral supplement. I prefer the dual acting, Milk Thistle with Dandelion, like these are.
