I have used after market K cups before but they always had a mesh bottom. These have a solid bottom allowing much less flow through of water. Also, they fit very tight in the machine needing you to press down hard to properly close the lid. Sorry, I bought them for the variety of colors in order that each person could identify his or her own cup, but their solid bottom makes them inefficient and inconvenient.
