Coleman Hot Water on Demand H2Oasis Portable Water Heater

I have put 30 gallons of water through this just to test it. It performed flawlessly. The battery had enough charge left for at least 10 gallons more of water. Same for the propane bottle. I had no leaks anywhere. Just have to take a little time putting it together. No you can't turn the water flow off but that's no big problem. If it is for you a ball valve and return line fixes that very simply. People need to look at the listing better. There are two different models. There is an A model and a B model. With the A model you get the AC plug with it and the B model you don't. The A model has a digital display and the B uses lights. The A model has an adjustable shower head and the B doesn't. All the safety features and everything else are exactly the same. The A model has been just recently discontinued. Do the maintenance they recommend and this water heater will heat many showers for you. My first one I gave to my daughter this year has had over 1,000 gallons of water through it and still functions like new. Take care of it and it will work well for many years.

When it's charged and works for about 5 minutes it's great. Although here are a few things that really irritate me about it. The battery only lasts 5 minutes before it needs to be recharged. We didn't figure this out until we were on our 2 week long trip up the coast. We ended up solving this by using the dc plug and a power bank to run the pump while we needed extra time. The temperature setting is very misleading. When you start it and turn it on. Don't even think about turning it past the minimum setting. It will overheat and shut off the pump and flame. There's no way to shut off the pump while also turning off the heater. So if you're showering and trying to conserve water it's near impossible without having to relight your heater. Kinda dumb. Overall the water does does really hot fast.
