After three kids learning to cook, my skillet needed to be replaced but the rest of the set is still perfect, so i set out to find something that was not as expensive and to hold over until i am ready to make a big purchase (of a set) again, but i didn't want something i would hate. i wasn't sure of this brand, but have used it several times now and i love it as much i love my set ... it heats evenly, is heavy and durable for all kinds of cooking styles. It may very well be i end up replacing my set now with these. Highly recommend!

The inside of the pan has a heavy duty bumpy type coating... unlike the scratchable Teflon coating of the older No-stick pans. First time I cooked pork chops and they browned up, much like an outdoor grill. LOVE IT and anxious to now do a Fried Chicken! Highly Recommend!

Read the instructions on cleaning it and cooking with it. It's a low heat pan. It dissipates so fast. No need to put it on high never put it up more than medium. It is a nonstick pan, but you have to put just a little bit of oil in there, cleanup was easy highly recommended.
