I was glad to give the Amerelle Emergency lights a 5-star rating. I have some of these emergency lights purchased about 5 years ago in my home and they still work perfectly and the permanently housed batteries still hold a charge. The non-replaceable batteries are often what goes bad in products like these. After the recent purchase of 2 more of these emergency lights, I now have them in every room of my home. One feature I like about these lights over other brands is that these do not have a built-in night light. I like my rooms to be as dark as possible for optimum sleep quality and these emergency lights only have a red light which is on when they are plugged in. The red light isn't so bright as to be annoying. I plan on buying more of these Amerelle Emergency lights so I'll have several in each room of my home. They are a quality product at a reasonable price.
