the potty pads were easy to open and there were a lot for what I paid more than I expected and very large and I loved it and as far as absorbency they absorbed well but as far as leak proof yeah no not quite I have yet to get one of the different companies that I've ordered many of dog potty pads that do not leak unless you're willing to pay $50 or $60. the dog potty pads I got are made by TOLOBEVE, are good dog pads however they do leak and let it go to the floor but you know it is what it is and there good in size so I very much got what I paid for except for the leakage.
