Wonderful

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a fantastic gift for my son as he already owns a super Mario starter course. It was quite easier to build and provided hours of fun to my son. My son could choose his own route from Mario to reach the guarded fortress. There is a free Lego super Mario app available, which helped in constricting and gives a lot of creative ideas. Over all its hours of fun and keeps my son engaged.

Great add on

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] this add on to the starter pack is brilliant, so interactive for my son, he has really good fun playing with it and asking for add ons for Christmas, I would reccomend this to lego and Mario fans , the sounds make it so much more fun

I got this set for my grandson for his ninth birthday. He has roughly a million other pieces of LEGOs already, many that I have personally stepped on, but adding more is always a welcome gift. I am pretty sure that he did assemble this set, but its been four days since his birthday so now the pieces have been absorbed into the collective. He is a fan of the Mario sets (and anything video game related) so this LEGOs series was a good addition to the world of LEGOs. The only hard part for Grandmas is figuring out which sets he already has. They all look alike to me, but he can tell me, in great detail, what the special features (powers) of each are.
