Thyme & Table Stainless Steel Damascus Cleaver with Protective Sheath

it's a budget high carbon cleaver. the Damascus design is printed or etched and not real but did you really expect anything that fancy at this price point? it feels like a decent knife. it has a good heft and the balance feels pretty good. the edge is very sharp using the scrape test on a finger nail. remember to hand wash and dry this after use and it should last a reasonably good length of time

it's great blade for the price go's threw carrots and sweet potatoes with little effort, the handles a little bit crude so it's a bit ruff on your hands but works very well. if you know how to use a knife/clever right in the kitchen that it will give you a Calis eventually BUT a cook that chop stuff up daily already has one so it's no problem for us.
