Great little unit, folds up for vertical storage. Mostly automatic, bakes waffles to a golden brown crispy but not overdone. Cleanup is a breeze with removable plates and non-stick ceramic construction. I do brush on a little Pam Ultra for easier removal but do not spray it on heavily. For the price it's good quality.

I had been looking for a 4-slice waffle maker that had removable plates and was fortunate to find the Mainstays 4 Slice Waffle maker. I have used it 5 times to date, and the waffles cook evenly and are not overdone. Cleanup is so easy with the removable plates and non-stick finish. I do use some cooking spray as recommended in the directions, and the waffles come out easily. I highly recommend this product for the even cooking, ease of cleaning and great price.

Good Waffle Maker

The first 2 attempts were hit it miss. I didn't know how much batter to use. By the 3rd attempt, I figured that 1/3 cup was perfect! It's a little slower cooking than my single waffle maker, but I'm making 4 instead of 1. I do spray it lightly with cooking spray after each use. I haven't had an issue with them sticking.
