[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Faber-Castell Oil Pastels Set of 36 as a complimentary sample through Influenster, and it has been such a great addition to my 4-year-old daughter's daily art time. Even though we didn't purchase it, I'm genuinely impressed with the quality and how well it works for young kids. The first thing I noticed is how smooth and creamy the pastels feel. The colors go onto the paper effortlessly, even with light pressure, which is perfect for little hands. My daughter loves how bright and vibrant the shades are — the set includes a lovely variety of colors that allow her to draw everything from rainbows and animals to her favorite characters. The 36-color range is big enough to feel exciting but not too overwhelming for a younger child. One of the best parts is how durable the pastels are. Many oil pastels tend to break easily, especially when used by small kids, but these have held up really well with daily use. The packing is okay but idk if it should be used permanently, definitely worth the money. I also live the variety of colors to choose from make picking colors so much easier!!
