Fantastic for those "cheese" sauces
We have had some serious allergies enter our house, and we have learned just how surprisingly awesome vegan mac and cheese can be. It's not so easy to find raw cashew pieces on grocery store shelves, and why not get a big ol' bag of them if we know we will use them? This is perfect! We love our "cheese" sauce on pasta and this bag is going to last us for a long time. Yes, these are not the prettiest cashews, because why pay for whole, pretty ones when you're just going to wozz them up in a blender? In theory you could even roast these yourself and salt them and snack on them. Me, I'll just use them for cooking. Love 'em.
