I bought this to use in smoothies and to add to yogurt along with fresh fruit (and sweetener). The extract had a really strong smell and flavor - not at all like bananas. Since it was highly concentrated I only added a small amount but even that was overpowering and I had to throw everything away, which is what I did with the bottle of extract. Maybe it should only be used for baking, etc.
