It boils very quicky! I boil enough water to pour over bean threads so they can soften for lunch and use the rest for my protein drink and cup of tea or coffee. i use much less gas to boil water on the stove and less electricity with my microwave. it's easy to wipe dry after use! I also use it for hot water to get pasta cooking right away. I love this kettle!
