This is a nice piece, a good alternative to a more expensive entryway bench/coat rack. It looks very nice. The drawers are a little flimsy, but that is not really why I purchased this piece. The cushion that comes with it is a little thin; you may want something different. The bench is sturdy enough to sit on to put on shoes, place book bags, etc., or use it for sitting. The assembly was very easy. Does requires two people if you have small hands and can not hold pieces together yourself to get screws started in some areas. The instructions are well laid out. My only complaint with this piece would be that I did not receive enough screws to completely assemble it. The breakdown of what I should have included, I was short on several screws . I had to go to Lowe's and purchase 2 different-sized screws to complete the project.
