Great BFS reel. I spooled it with 10 lb braid paired with a 6 lb fluorocarbon leader. I tied on a small crappie lure and consistently made cast equal to the other open face reels used for larger baits. I had a 3/32 oz chatter bait for pan fish. I was able to consistently make cast distances equal to my larger capacity reels designed for bass techniques
