Bought it as a gift to friends who's speed boat was damaged in a storm. We had a great time on it. A lot of laughs. It can be slippery and you end up in the hole but that just made for more laughs. While we only used once so far, it appears to be good quality. There were no surprises. It is just how it appeared in the photos. Does take about 40 minutes to inflate because it's so big. We ordered one of these tubes and this was the cheapest place we found it. We chose this instead of a floating mat we have seen on the lake because the mats are just flat and we thought this would be more comfortable and also we can deflate it to take up less room. We have two younger girls and this tube can be used by us to lounge while they play in the tube part. You can also just use it with a bunch of kids. We have used it by tying it to our boat as well as anchoring it back in our cove. This can only really be used in a lake setting. It is HUGE! It takes 15-20 minutes to blow up even using a high pressure air compressor. The first time I used our battery air mattress blower and it took like 45 minutes. It takes two people to carry it and/or get it in the lake. It seems to be well made and will hold up. It does have 2 climb on pads (one on each side-hard to see in the picture). Also, the center of the circle is open to the water. At first we thought there was netting, but it is open to put your feet in the water.
