It did not look like it would hold up to the daily use I had planned for it . I'm happy to say it's much tougher than it looks and works perfect. I use it to shred chicken for dog food. It does that to perfection. I plan to use it on beef, pork and chicken for bbq and tacos soon..

Amazing shredder for BBQ

Well I have to say I am thrilled to have found this shredder! I use it to shred BBQ meat instead of chicken. previously it took me a. hour to a hour and a half while enduring lits of hand cramps to shred up a 8 - 9lb Boston Butt. This little gadget speeds it up significantly to around 20 minutes or so with that amount of meat and includes me removing it from the bone and pulling out some of the parts that are way too fatty. This also cleans up very nicely in the dishwasher. When I put too much meat in it, it was very forgiving, and easy to adjust the meat around so it still shred fairly finely the way we all like it! i wish Id had this a long time ago!
