SOG is known for quality tactical gear, especially knives and this pack does not disappoint. Made of heavy duty polyester and with a lifetime guarantee and a great price, you cannot go wrong. The shoulder straps are much wider than most packs and are generously padded - a boon for comfort. In conjuction with the sternum strap, it feels excellent. It is a simple pack with a cavernous main compartment which is water bladder comptabile, a small padded pocket on the outside for glasses and other fragiles and then the zippered pouch pocket on the outside which is pretty spacious and has the obligatory pockets for pens etc. The molle webbing on the outside is substantial and gives the black pack a very tactical look. I am sure 99% of the people who buy this pack have no idea how to use MOLLE webbing or would ever have a use for it. The last bit is of course the fuzzy Velcro patch attachment strip over the outside pouch pocket, so that if you want to look cool, you can attach any one of a million "tough guy" patches to it. Water bottle pockets are spacious and stretchy, nothing remarkable. To keep the amazing price of 19.99, the back offers very little support and has zero padding or airflow management, something you might consider if you actually use this pack for hiking. A great deal at under $20.

Ok for the price but will not stand up on its own due to the bottom not being reinforced and the material is not very thick, therefore unless it has something heavy in the bottom it will keep falling over. I threw it away because of this.
