Don't fall for the low price

I returned the first headphones because the dark brown plastic shell was extremely sticky on both sides. I ordered another pair and the same stickiness was there. I was able to scrub the stickiness almost completely off with a rag and isopropyl alcohol, but in doing so the leatherette material that rests against your head tore because of the force it took to remove the stickiness. Do I haven't even tried them yet and they're torn and look like I've been wearing them with grease in my hair. I have no idea what the substance is, but I spent 30 minutes scrubbing them. No wonder they were so cheap, I mean low priced.
