The first time my baby is quietly asleep in his crib, this topper is soft but firm at the same time, which makes it to my opinion for sure. It comes rolled but when opened it is left in the exact size of the matress of a regular baby crib the width is of two inches is very comfortable for baby. I was not sure it was a good purchase but it is the best investment I have made to make baby sleep in his crib, I love it !!
