Camillus Western Black River 9" Drop-Point Fixed 3
Ciao, The Camillus Mask blade was priced at $18.69 at time of purchase. The knife feels very solid. The knife is approximately 176 grams, and the sheath is approximately 41 grams. The knife has a titanium 3.75 inch bonded coated 420 Stainless steel blade. The blades Rockwell Hardness is HRC 52. The knife has a Hollow Grind blade with a Drop-Point style. The knife is a fixed blade with a full tang. The Overall Length of the knife is approximately 9 inches. The knife was sharp right out of the package. The knife comes with a Ballistic Nylon Sheath which protects against debris and other foreign materials. The difference between ballistic nylon and regular nylon is the ballistic nylon is stronger, stiffer, and has a coarser weave texture than regular nylon. The sheath is nice and feels sturdy. The handle is made of G-10 material. G10 is a composite material made from layers of fiberglass and epoxy resin pressed together under high pressure and heated until they've cured. Many say that G-10 is the ideal material for making knife handles because it is light, easily workable, does not expand or contract due to normal temperature and moisture exposure, and extremely rugged. The handle of the knife feels nice and comfortable. I would recommend this knife. Camillus is a reliable name when it comes to knives. Thank you for your time. Auguri.

Great Knife!
Love this knife. It's a great camping/hunting and all around knife. I have used it at home for breaking down cardboard boxes and various other things. I have also used it to baton firewood at a camp site and feather wood for kindling as well as various other things in the camp. Preparing food...etc. The blade is a good size and stays sharp. The rubber handle has good traction and is comfortable in hand. It has a full tang and seems very sturdy. The sheath is nylon with a snap to secure the knife. It also has a plastic insert to keep you from cutting through the sheath or from pushing the knife through it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

A good knife at a great price
Lets start out being honest. This isnt a GREAT knife, but it IS a GOOD knife. And its a steal at its price. The balance is good, the blade handles well, its comfortable, has a nice heft, and it has a nice edge. I just wish it came with a better sheath. Maybe kydex? But hey, at this price? So what.
