Great pen and better than a Space Pen - IMO

Very happy with the Rite-In-The-Rain All-Weather Metal Pen. I'm a huge fan of Fisher Space Pens and Rite-In-The-Rain notebooks. I have five Space Pens. But, I chose this All-Weather Pen because of barrel color and slightly lower cost in comparison to a Space Pen. I know this Rite-In-The-Rain pen was manufactured by Fisher, but it seems to write better in the notebooks. Space Pen ink is black, but leans slightly towards the blue side. And, it spreads over a few days making writing less sharp. The Rite-In-The-Rain ink appears more black and doesn't seem to spread. Is there a difference in ink? I'm not sure, but it appears there is. I also love the orange barrel color. Definitely stands out wherever it sits.

JUST DOES NOT GET BETTER !!!!

USING THIS PEN FOR MULTIPLE YEARS NOW, 1,000% RELIABLE, BEST FEATURE ‘ WRITES UPSIDE DOWN ‘ INK IS UNDER PRESSURE … ONLY REASON I NEED TO BUY AGAIN IS BECAUSE OF LOSS OR SOMEONE ‘ BORROWING ‘ MY PEN 🙃

great pen for field notes

Writes smoothly (sometimes the first letter is a little less smooth, but even that is still better than most pens I've used) and the clip is so strong that I sometimes have to use both hands to clip it into my hi-viz vest's pen pocket - but then I'm NEVER worried about it falling out. I'd like to see a smaller sized head option, but the . 9mm still isn't too big
