We wanted to make our own breakfast corn dogs since they were so expensive to buy in stores. Works great. The only thing we noticed is they don't evenly cook on both sides. One side will look good the other side will not get golden brown. First time we read directions it said to fill cavities 2/3 full. We did that and they came out flat on one side. The next time we tried they came out a little better. They taste amazing and save a bunch a money so a win in our book.

Great Product - Corndogs are 1/2 size not mini.
Totally impressed. Very easy to use and clean. Keep in mind it says "mini" but it makes 1/2 corndogs. I use 1 box of Jiffy Cornbread Mix (58 cents a box at Walmart) and it easily makes 12 "1/2" corndogs. I also use a better quality of hot dog (Nathans or Hebrew National). I never buy gimmick-type appliances - but I was craving corndogs and this one was a hit! For sticks, I just used the skewers they sell at the dollar store. If you have a big family, I would probably purchase two of these. Gonna try it with sticks of Velveeta too!
