Our vet recommended that we try these chews for our older toy poodle ("Doodle") who was suffering from painful stiff joints - most noticeably his hips. We added these chews to his diet (once a day for our dog but there is a chart on the back that explains how much should be given according to the weight of the dog). He did not want to eat the chew alone but seems not to even notice when we crumble it into a few pieces and add to his kibble. Within a few days, Doodle was walking without a limp and even running up our front steps again rather than slowly adding up the steps.
