Grew up with dogs and this product. All lived long , healthy lives. My only gripe is the price for a 7.4 lb bag that use to be well under $10. There are many shelter / rescue dogs. Price of Vet %26 to keep pets in general has become a burden for many folks. Companies can help those who want pets and to keep their pets by keeping prices down. IMO

My vet recommended Pro Plan for my dachshund who needed to shed a few pounds, it's very expensive and she didn't like it so much (one way to lose the weight, I guess).
