My doctor recommended this to heal face cuts. It works very good for healing skin wounds over entire body and a great body moisturizer! It only takes a little bit at a time and it feels a little greasy when you put it on, but my body absorbs the ointment quickly. It's a great value for the price.

My dermatologist recommended I use the cerave healing ointment for my super sensitive skin to help with healing my flare ups and to keep me moisturized. I love that it's not greasy but you have to apply the right amount because it can get really oily as it settles on skin. It doesn't take much of the cerave to see and feel the effects. I have tried so many highly rated products and only this one made a difference. I don't have any complaints other than the rising cost but that is pretty much everything. It works exceptionally well for me so I recommend it.
