While oatmeal is gluten free, having celiac creates the need for actual gluten free oatmeal products since those not gluten free could be made in a factory that processes wheat or gluten causing it to make us sick from cross-contamination. I purchased Quaker Select Starts Gluten Free Maple & Brown Sugar Instant Oatmeal, 1.51 oz, 8 count quite by accident. I have no Gluten-dietary restrictions and intended to purchase regular Quaker Select Starts! However, I appreciate my mistake because this Gluten Free has a bold Brown Sugar flavor and the Maple tastes more natural than in the regular.
