I brush and gargle, but every 6 months when I go to the dentist I had a lot of plaque. I couldn't understand why, she asked what mouthwash I used I said Listerine. She said stop using it, she said that has too much alcohol in it snd it dries your mouth out. Your mouth actually needs saliva to help fight plaque! I did not know this! Since I've changed to Smart Mouth, my visits have been so much smoother and faster.
