    One awesome knife

    This knife is well designed and fits your hand very well. It has a very sharp blade and the sheath really keeps the blade sharp and it is a way to keep it safe as well. I was cutting an old slightly wrinkled green pepper and it felt like it was rubbery and the knife went right though it with no problem at all. I really liked the form of the handle. It fit right in my hand and didn’t feel like a block in my hand. This is just the 6 inch blade, but it was just right for the jobs I use it on. I really can’t think of something bad about it. Maybe different colors on the handle would be nice. The sheath is really nice. Well-constructed and it is easy to handle and safe to use. The knife and the sheath fit well in my draw and I don’t worry about the knife sliding out to the sheath they fit well together. I will defiantly be tell my family and friends to get this knife it is well worth it and you well not need another knife again. I will defiantly be getting the paring knife.

    Very nice size

    I got the 8" and 6" knife and like them both. I love the protective sheath for the self-sharpening feature as well as safety. It is very sharp and very attractive. The molded handle feels good and the knife works very well. Only time will tell how long it will last, but it appears to be well made and I expect it to last a long time. And not need sharpening all the time like my other knives do.

    I like the self sharpening sheat

    Farberware Edgekeeper 6" Chef Knife with Self-Sharpening Sheath Today I'm going to review. The Faberwear Edgekeeper 6” Chef Knife with Self Sharpening Sheath. I received this product free for my honest review. The knife comes in a secure transparent plastic wrapping. With the Chef's knife, The self sharpening sheath. And instructions for caring and storing. The knife is approximately 10/78 inches long, A 6inch blade in length. Just a little over 1 ½ inches in height The blade is made from high carbon stainless steel. The high carbon content in the blade means the blade is strong and durable and should last for years of use. The blade also has an attractive finish. The handle of this knife is 5 inches in length. 1 1/8 inches in height. It's made from molded black plastic. With a texture that makes the handle sure grip. The handle is molded right so the handle feels comfortable in your hand. This knife comes a black plastic sheath. With a red plastic end on the bottom of the sheath that contains metal blades to sharpen the knife blade. As you take the knife in and out of the sheath is it sharpens the blade oh the knife. For me when I place the knife in the sheath. The blade of the knife locks in the sheath. For removal of the knife. I hold the sheath in one hand. I place my other hand on the handle. And apply soft pressure on the end of the sheath until the knife comes free from the sheath. The blade of the knife comes very sharp. I've been using the knife and it seems to cut everything so far. I have other Faberware Knives there just as sharp as the day I got them. The knife also comes with a lifetime limited warranty.
