The pine pellet litter I bought was a new brand and man it is awful it doesn't absorb the cat urine smell at all and the pellets even stink as soon as you open the bag. Awful brand but thanks to these little Oder erasers I can stand the litter and not have to purchase a different brand now I can use up what I just got and then buy new.
